This is a CPD style course that will help you to make classes more diverse, more welcoming and more effective for your students.
Many pole instructors will undergo a two day, or equivalent, course before being thrown in the deep end and given their own class. Pole instructor certifications are important but quite often only lay the foundations so if we want to be an exceptional instructor, rather than just good, there's a lot more we need to know. I've spoken to many new instructors over the years who felt they were not properly prepared to teach a group.
Even if you work through the different levels of courses you may find yourself still struggling to teach certain populations of students. You may struggle with retention. You may find that your studio culture is not where you want it to be. You may find students progress is slow and frustrating.
I have distilled over 12 years of experience teaching and performing pole, aerial and circus disciplines full time into a course that is absolutely full of valuable knowledge and tips that will help you. This is the course I wish I had with I first started. Instead I had to learn what I now know the hard way - through trial and error.
There are no exams or assessments and you will not receive a certificate upon completion but you will hopefully learn a lot that you can take away and use in your own classes!
